Each piece is hand cast in 14k yellow gold in our Chicago studio using a wax carving technique that adds just a hint of texture to each stud earring. Ear posts and backs are also 14k yellow gold. Due to the nature of this casting process, each stud will have slightly different texture markings. This makes each earring completely unique.
These earring backs feature the patented LuxLock technology. This type of earring back gives an audible "click" when secured and will never slide out of place even after years of day-to-day wear. A safety feature in the clutch, however, releases the post to prevent injury should the earring be caught in clothing or otherwise forcefully tugged.

Lost Wax Cast Process and Shipping
These studs are made using the centuries old process of lost wax casting. A small piece of wax is hand carved, an individual mold is made around it, and then bronze is hand-poured into the mold to create an earring that is truly unique.
